Vietnam Manpower provided MERA Romania with 200 workers on 10th July 2019, continuing to take Romania as the targeted market.

ALPHA company is part of the Tera Group, which has a history of more than 120 years on the Romanian market. For 10 years in the field of thermal insulating carpentry production, the Teraglass door and window factory works both in the domestic market and in developed markets in Europe, as is the German market. The competition with the great European competitors has only increased the performance and quality of the carpentry made by ALPHA, which are in line with European standards.

TECO is one of the leading manufacturers of roofing systems in the local industry.After 18 years of continuous development following strong entrepreneurial principles, during which the switch from the importer to a successful local producer, in 2017 the company leaps to development through its partnership with the Tera industrial group, which takes control of the majority stake.

MERA Group in Romania cooperated with Vietnam Manpower to recruit 200 workers for various positions: Machine operator, Moulder, Machine operators(metal sheet tiles), Plastic mahine operator and team leader. It took two parties two days to find the most 200 appropriate candidates for the purpose of working in MERA Group. By targeting specifically at Romania market for a long time, Vietnam manpower is becoming one of the most popular companies supplying qualified Vietnamese laborers to work overseas. As well as that, Vietnam Manpower is also familiar with the procedures for exporting workers to Romania market which enable us to execute the contract quickly.

The recruitment campaign was conducted in 6 sections:

Part 1: Team leader selection

Part 2: Machine operator selection

Part 3: Machine operators(metal sheet tiles) selection

Part 4: Plastic mahine operator selection

Part 5: Flooring installer

In the first section, each candidate for foremen position had an interviewed in English directly with the employer to discuss about their experience, their knowledge of the work and their teamwork management ability.

The second part of the recruitment campaign is for Machine operator. Each operator did the test for 20 minutes. Each person was controlled and lead by 1 foreman. The employers can test the workers quality and the foreman management ability at the same time. They have to know how to install their machines, operate them to aid in plant processes, and perform routine maintenance checks.

Session three was machine operators ( metal sheet tiles) test under close supervision of Mera’s representative. All products are thoroughly tested in detail to select the best candidates.

After going through a close practice test, the partner interviewed each employee about personal life, the situations that occurred at the workplace and the steps to do when operating the machine by the Vietnamese Manpower interpreter. The workers responded very confidently and made the employer very pleased.

The fourth part was Plastic mahine operator. The worker need to be responsible for operating and tending metal or plastic molding, coremaking, or casting machines to mold or cast metal or thermoplastic parts or products.. All stages are done correctly, in a very fast and secure manner and yet ensuring the examination time is within 20 minutes limitation.

The last section was flooring installer. Flooring Installers place floor coverings in both residential and commercial buildings. Flooring Installers mention duties like measuring materials, cutting carpeting, securing carpets on floors, preparing floors, removing imperfections. Each candidate worked under the strict supervision of the Foreman and employer, and offered beautiful products.

After 2 days of stressful testing, the employer chose more than 100 the best employees which made them very happy and happy about this selection campaign. Moreover, they were also very pleased with the quality and service provided by Vietnam Manpower.
