Over 200 workers have been recruited in the almost-biggest-ever recruitment of Vietnam Manpower for Shipyard Repairs Company in Bahrain

Shipyard Repairs Company (SRC) took direct interview and trade test with candidates offered by Vietnam Manpower on August 27-29. It was the second order between the two companies after a very successful corporation in April when 100 fitters and welders were recruited by SRC.

Thanks to professional training of Vietnam Manpower, 95% labors passed the trade test given by SRC and will fly to Bahrain to work in the near future. Welders took welding test with four samples including 3G, 4G, 3F, and 4F according to the ISO standard, and representatives of SRC were satisfied with their skill. Meanwhile, foremen successfully convinced SRC by their English fluency and ability to solve labor-related issues in the interview.

In the fitting test, candidates were asked to cut, grind, attach and fix pipes parts together. They must have good understanding of drawings to perform these skills as the test evaluation complied with international technical drawing standards.

After hard tests, qualified candidates were selected and awarded profesional welding certificates of Lloyd's Register Vietnam, a group famous for accreditation unit, welder evaluation, and international certificate.

Those who passed the test feel very happy to know that they would be paid much higher salary than in Vietnam. Representatives of SRC also committed to provide workers with good accommodation and attractive benefits when working in Bahrain.
