On December 14th, the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs organized the opening ceremony of the Hanoi Skills Competition 2023. From 2021 to 2023, vocational education institutions in the city annually trained over 200,000 individuals. The rate of employment after training in the city has been steadily increasing, rising from 71.1% in 2021 to 73.23% in 2023. Specifically, the rate of certified workers increased from 50.2% in 2021 to 52.53% in 2023 (a 2.53% increase).
Over 90% of graduates from vocational education institutions were classified as 'good' and immediately employed; many were recruited by foreign enterprises and corporations with high-income prospects. Furthermore, numerous graduates have successfully embarked on entrepreneurial ventures after completing their studies. With 284 participants, the competition promises to be intense and engaging, providing a beneficial platform for contestants to enhance their skills and expertise. The competition fosters skill development, expertise improvement, and cultivates competitiveness and confidence in work.
