CMC construction company specializes in the field of building hospitals, houses, bridges. The company has many years of experience in the field of construction and has been doing many projects throughout the territory of Romania.
Normally, the recruitment of such diverse positions will take a lot of the contractors’ time which is from one to three months to gather enough skilled workers meeting the demand of construction site. This does not only slow down the project progress but also waste a lot of opportunity cost and expenses of the companies, especially in Romania experiencing labor shortage situation.

CMC Construction Company has known about Vietnam Manpower via our unique and innovative marketing strategies. After 1 week of discussion, CMC Construction Company and Vietnam Manpower reach an agreement of labor export contract. By 21st of July 2018, CMC Construction representaives came Vietnam to directly select the best candidates for their projects.
The trade test was conducted in 4 sections:
- Section 1: Electricians selection
- Section 2: Piping Fitters selection
- Section 3: Tilers selection
- Section 4: Carpenters selection
- Section 5: Steel Fixers selection
For the first section, each candidate will set up an electrical system including a ceiling fan, electric shade, voltage regulator, switch ... These activities took place in 30 minutes, after that, candidates run their own products to see whether it works and at the same time recruiters checked the final products quality during this operation.
The second section is for Piping Fitters selection. Each worker will cut and assemble the piping segments according to the technical drawing given by the Romanian recruiters. Each part was assembled carefully and exactly as described in the drawings, which is highly appreciated by the employers.
Tilers selection is the third section, the tilers will do their job from the mixing concrete, putting tiles on the wall and measuring the accuracy of the tiled wall. The employers evaluated the final result within 30 minutes after this test completed.
Next section is to select carpenter. Candidates for Shuttering Carpenter positions showed that they are qualified enough and know well how to use and manage the machine in their job. Besides, they also proved that they have a really good team work skill and attitude. Together they can create high quality products.
The steel fixers performed their test by straightening to iron sticks, bending them in square frames and fastening them. All stages are done correctly, in a very fast and secure manner and yet ensuring the examination time is within 20 minutes limitation.
The test was more successful than expected. The most skilled, most agile workers have been selected to create a qualified workforce for CMC Construction Company’s projects in Romania.
The director of CMC Construction said that he was very satisfied with the results which the number of chosen employees was 85 in diverse fields. It took only one day to select all of them which much faster than the recruiting in Romania market
He also said he was surprised at the working quality, attitudes and experience of Vietnamese workers. In particular, he is very pleased with Vietnam Manpower's extremely fast, convenient and professional service.
