The salary of marketing staff depends on the size of the company and the nature of the job.

Currently, the common salary for marketing personnel is advertised by foreign-invested enterprises from 400-600 USD/month, management level from 1,000-1,500 USD/month. As for domestic enterprises, the minimum salary paid to personnel doing this work is not less than 5 million VND/month. In some business lines in the fields of industrial electricity, IT, automobiles, medical equipment, biochemistry... the salesperson's income can be up to several tens of millions of dong if calculated by revenue.

Training has not kept up with demand

Marketing is a fiercely competitive and constantly changing industry, so marketers always have to study constantly to keep up with practical requirements.

Commenting on the demand for human resources in the marketing industry, according to Ms. Vu Thi Thoa, General Director of Highway 4 Joint Stock Company, due to the need to develop and expand the company: "There are times, even though they offer a salary of 500 USD/month for this position and accept to spend 500 USD/person for a human resource brokerage service company, but we still have difficulty in recruiting people. There are candidates that we think are relatively suitable for the job, but when we invite them to interview, they do not meet the requirements, so we have to accept a higher salary for this position to recruit workers. Foreigners can do the job right away.

Mr. Tran Hoang, President of Vietnam Marcom said: “Every year we receive marketing training according to the orders of businesses and individuals with the number of thousands of students, but training requirements continue to increase. by the number of students coming to register. This proves that there is still a gap between the supply and demand for labor in this field.

From that fact, it can be seen that in order to meet the market demand, marketing personnel still have many problems to overcome, not only in quantity but the most essential thing is still the quality to keep up with market growth.
